I'm here to introduce you to a "young" talent. The fruits of his labor are astounding and it is an honor and a privilege to introduce you to Vance Lake.

Vance lake is a professional artist and author from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area.

As a young man, Vance was always drawing and sketching almost everyday. He loved illustrations and cartoons so much that he began creating his own original characters at an early age. 

As time passed, Vance's artistic endeavors began to fade. Simply put, life and responsibilities got in the way. Fatherhood and work obligations took priority, however, Vance would use  tricks to get his young son to eat breakfast by making up stories to entertain him. Their favorite tales were ones that were made up about a group of colorful trolls that were very backward and silly.

Years later, Vance decided to write and illustrate these silly creatures for other children to experience and enjoy. We would like to welcome you to the world of the Doofberries!
