I consider this space to be my home. It's that outdoor space that allows me to breathe fresh city air, get Sun on my face, eat a meal, share stories, raise a glass and sit by the fire with an enhancement of my choosing, or not . . . It depends.
Regardless, while this is my home, it is a shared space and it is very important to me to make all feel welcome in a tidy space. Considerations have dogs playing fetch and kids playing hopscotch. All . . . well, almost all are welcome. 🚭

Two days prior to event-time, Kelly and I met to discuss logistics and test the technology in our Theatre Room. With all things considered and unsuccessful results (a missing HDMI cable -- reported to Zach for replacement), Kelly and I needed help . . . I sent out the Bat Signal on COBU and in MOMENTS . . . he strolled in to save the day . . . AGAIN! Matt is the guilty party! He keeps showing up when help is needed!
The presentation was about the phenomena in nature known as the volcano. During delivery, Kelly intertwined informative, educational content that made us laugh, wince, and wonder.
Our Kahoot! results had 3 winners (in no particular order) Matt, Abby, and Colton. Each went home as Volcanic Rock Stars and with a Geode + 3 Life Saver treat.
Cobu attendees had Flaming Hot Ring Pop treats for following RSVP directions and Pizza from Brick was provided along with GREEN THEMED -->> Ginger Ale, Great Value Fudge Mint Cookies, Oreo Mint Cookies, Spearmint Gel candies, and in the spirit of the FLOOR being like Lava . . . a snack bowl filled with Naked Cheese Puffs, Fuego and Blue Heat Takis.
Attendees were reminded about the Fit Life Challenge, encouraged to post HONEST, TRUTHFUL Reviews to Google, and take pictures and share them with me via text, email, or COBU.
18 People was the Headcount when Pizza was ordered. 16 People was the headcount at Show Time.
5 Pizzas were ordered (2 slices/person = 36 slices needed) 40 slices ordered to allow for attendees who may show up without RSVP.
At the end of the Event, 2 1/2 Pizzas remained (20 slices), along with sodas, sparkling grape juice, cookies, and flaming hot snacks.
A message was posted to COBU and I would estimate another 12-16 Residents helped themselves to the left-overs. The cameras can be rolled back to verify my estimate.
SHOUT OUT to Dave!! Thanks for checking on me and the remains of the event! Picking up after me isn't always easy . . . I leave messes everywhere I go, it seems. With the right cleaning crew on board, magic CAN happen. I have seen it with my very own eyes!! Love you more than words can say.
I hope as many people as possible benefitted from my work and creativity. I am here to give, not take. I never, ever, ever want to be viewed as a taker.
