Get involved with Disability Dialogue

Most of these can be done online and all are interactive. 

Chain of Challenges - a support group for individuals to vent and solve their own problems. Families are welcome. 

Do it yourself Disability - topics such as advocacy, frustrations and solutions, dieting, parenting, driving, exercising, socializing, and transportation, will be offered. Individuals can cover their topics then help lead the meetings. Ask about the DIY booklet. 

Wheelchair Basketball - This may not be as easy as it sounds. Programs can be arranged for people with and without physical challenges. They work well at community centers and after school programs. 

Working on Wheels - Manage your day while sitting in a wheelchair then discuss the experience. This sensitivity activity has proven to be a good way to understand a physical challenge

Create and earn - If you interested in planning an awareness program but need a little support, let me know. Wheel Life - We are working on a podcast that will delve into life with a disability. Your perspective matters. Share your suggestions, stories, and solutions and join us online. Just do it!
